These views provided by the applicant highlight the overbearing of the proposed building on local 2-3 storey housing. The reduction of car parking spaces to 0.5 per flat or probably 0.14 per resident is a nonsense in this suburban setting that has poor public transport links. The application suggests densities only appropriate in a Central London Urban setting and runs counter to Barnet Council’s Local Plan and the site specific Planning Brief.
